Camping and Caravan sites at the Opstal

There are 10 campsites that are set approximately 20 meters apart.
The 5 caravan sites close to the picnic area. There is a communal kitchenette (no coooking facilities or equipment) and there are communal bathrooms for guests.

• Communal kitchenette (no cooking facilities) and bathrooms available for campers and caravanners
• All sites equipped with braai area and picnic tables
• No electricity at sites
• Bring pots and pans etc.

Camping among the diverse wildlife of De Hoop with the added benefit of being able to walk and hike in safety, has made this reserve a favourite with campers and caravanners.

There is a newly surfaced tennis court at the Opstal area – bring your rackets. The Opstal has a swimming pool and there is also a boules courtyard – there is a boules set but if you have one, do bring it
